Giovanna I của Napoli (Tháng 12 năm 1325[1] – 27 tháng 7 năm 1382), là Nữ vương Napoli,[a] và Bá tước xứ Provence và Forcalquier từ năm 1343 đến năm 1381; bà cũng là Thân vương xứ Akhaia từ năm 1373 đến năm 1381.

sửa- ^ In reality, Joanna was crowned simply as "Queen of Sicily", despite her predecessors having lost control of the island after the War of the Sicilian Vespers. The term "Kingdom of Naples" is a simplification used since 1805 by historiography to indicate the southern end of the Italian peninsula still under the Angevin government and which at the time was known as the Kingdom of Sicily citra Pharum or al di qua del Faro (on this side of Faro)—referring to the Faro Point situated in Messina.[2] The portion of the Kingdom that included only the island of Sicily was known as the Kingdom of Sicily ultra Farum or di la del Faro (on the other side of Faro) administered by the House of Barcelona,[2] a government not recognized by the Anjou–Naples dynasty until the Treaty of Villeneuve, who was ratified by Joanna and King Frederick IV of Sicily on 31 March 1373 at Aversa, in front of the papal legate, Jean de Réveillon, Bishop of Sarlat.[3]
