Norman Brookes và Anthony Wilding là đương kim vô địch, tuy nhiên Wilding bị giết trong Thế chiến thứ nhất. Brookes đánh cặp với Gerald Patterson tuy nhiên thất bại ở bán kết trước nhà vô địch Pat O'Hara Wood và Ronald Thomas.
